A night of queer excellence, strange explorations in the garden, queer talks and a party under the stars

Join us for ‘The Moment’ a specially-commissioned talk with Travis Alabanza, Shon Faye, Jodie Mitchell and Neil Bartlett, followed by our Queer Fayre, with performances by Symoné, Brian Lobel, Emma Frankland, Subira Joy, Samson Dittrich and Charlie Wood, and party until midnight with DJ Michelle Manetti and line-up of special guests.

What’s on:

The Moment (Talk), 6-7pm
The evening kicks off with The Moment, a special commission with guest speakers, Travis Alabanza, Shon Faye, Jodie Mitchell in conversation with Neil Bartlett, exploring ways that queer imagination can confront, subvert or transform the world.

Queer Fayre, 7-9pm
Charleston house and gardens turn into a Queer Fayre so you can frolic and encounter performances, live art and a fine selection of wild queers taking up residence in the greenery.

Midsummer Party, 9pm-12am
As twilight descends, Charleston comes to life with DJs, cabaret and debauchery. Join us for a Midsummer Party under the August sky.
