Odd Fabrication Costume workshop and Runway at A Queer Night at the Museum

2:00 pm, Sunday 1st February 2026

Location: Brighton Museum & Art Gallery

On Sunday February 1st the incredible Costume designer Odd Fabrication is bringing you a once-in-a-lifetime workshop, so you can make an original garment of wearable art, and then walk it down the runway during our fashion show a A Queer Night At The Museum!

In this strange and whimsical three-hour workshop workshop you will embrace being playful, maximalist, colourful and textural, using an array of fun and intriguing materials. Create a piece of wearable art that expresses your queerness, and channel your identity through the piece you create with your own hands. Learn some new techniques and embrace the playful nature of costume and dressing up!

On Friday February 6 we are taking over Brighton Museum for one night only with a party, disco, performance, happening event celebrating all things gender: A Queer Night At The Museum! By taking part in this workshop you will be able to strut your stuff down the museum runway in the Queer Night At The Museum Fashion Show!

Buying a ticket to the workshop also entitles you to entry to A Queer Night at the Museum!

The workshop is taking place at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery Art Room, on the ground floor. Upon arrival please wait in the foyer/gift shop, to be taken to the workshop room.
