Revealing St James Street
Tuesday 29th July 2025
Location: Meeting Point: Pinocchio Restaurant, Brighton, BN1 1UF
What makes St James’s Street so fabulously unique?
Drag icons Alfie Ordinary, Alex Fincher, and Billie Gold have dug deep into the history books and listened to all the juicy gossip, to create a walking tour of the places and spaces that make up the beating heart of queer Brighton & Hove.
Revealing St James Street brings to life the queer stories steeped in the very bricks of the venues and businesses through the voices of residents, venue owners, punters and performers. Grab a map, put your silent disco headphones on, and listen to tales of iconic queer club nights, historical venues and outrageous stories…
To celebrate Pride week we invite you to join a performer for a guided tour followed by a a glitzy celebratory performance at one of Brighton's most iconic gay venue, the Queens Arms.
Important info:
Each tour is l guided by one of the performers.
All the tours will start outside Pinocchio on New Road, and finish at the Queen's Arms Pub
On Tuesday July 29 the tours will begin at 6:30pm, 6:40pm, and 6:50pm and all end at the Queen's arms at around 7:40pm. The show will finish at around 8:30pm.
We ask that you arrive ten minutes before your allocated slot - we know it's Pride Week, but no queer time please! - to make sure each tour group can leave at the right time.
